Itinerary

Welcome to Paro International Airport, nestled in the Himalayas at 2,200 meters. Upon arrival, you’ll transfer to Thimphu at 2,300 meters. If time allows, we’ll take a leisurely stroll through the city, helping you acclimate and experience the local culture. You’ll also have time to explore shops and settle into your accommodations.

Spend the day exploring Bhutan’s scenic landscapes and historic sites, including:

  • Visit the Dochula Druk Wangyel Chorten, a group of 108 victory stupas at Dochula Pass (3,150 meters).
  • Stop by Chhimi Lhakhang, a temple famous for its fertility powers.
  • Explore Punakha Dzong, a 17th-century fortress at an elevation of 1,200 meters.
  • Visit Sangchhen Dorji Lhuendrup Nunnery, a serene Buddhist nunnery.

Hike through Bhutan’s picturesque landscapes, exploring the rolling rice terraces and lush forests as you make your way to the Khamsum Yulley Chorten, a sacred Buddhist monument. In Paro, explore the rich history and culture by visiting the majestic Paro Dzong, the National Museum, and the ancient Kyichu Lhakhang, a sacred temple dating back to the 8th century.

The 2-hour trek to this iconic site will be rewarded with breathtaking views and spiritual rejuvenation.
